Michelle O'Connor
Senior Trainee Counsellor
I am a student counsellor working within the BACP Ethical Framework, offering a
safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever you are facing, at your own pace. My integrative approach draws from a range of therapeutic
models, tailored to meet your individual needs.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that the counselling relationship itself is key to
healing and personal growth. I hold the core conditions of empathy, congruence, and
unconditional positive regard in every session. You will be met with honesty, warmth,
and deep respect, never judgment.
With a background in healthcare, I have a strong understanding of the connection
between emotional and physical wellbeing, and the importance of feeling truly heard.
I bring this experience into my counselling practice, offering a calm, compassionate
presence and a genuine commitment to walking alongside you, whatever challenges
you may be facing.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of space to reflect, I
aim to provide a warm and grounded environment where you can feel safe to be
yourself.
