Kristen Robbins
Counsellor and Psychotherapist
My Approach
My work is rooted in curiosity and compassion. I believe that when we slow down and gently turn toward what feels difficult, we create space for healing, growth, and deeper self-understanding.
How I Work
At the heart of my approach is the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. I see therapy as a collaborative process—one where we work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a space that is respectful and supportive.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of humanistic approaches, including attachment-based, strength-based, and emotion-focused therapy. I work holistically, seeing you as a whole person shaped by your lived experience, values, and relationships.
Areas of Focus
I work with adults (18+) and offer support with a range of issues, including:
- Low self-esteem and confidence
- Anxiety and stress
- Grief and loss
- Depression
- Relationship and family difficulties
- The emotional impact of physical health issues
I offer both in-person and online sessions, with the flexibility to work short-term or long-term depending on your needs.
Qualifications
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI College and am a Registered Member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), currently working toward full accreditation.
