Kathy McStravick

Counsellor

I am a qualified integrative therapist working with both adults and children, offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore the challenges they are facing. My approach is client-led, recognising that each individual is unique and the therapeutic process should be tailored to their needs. I draw on a range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic theory, to support clients in understanding their experiences, developing self-awareness, and creating meaningful change.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am committed to working safely, ethically, and professionally. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, understanding the impact that past and present experiences can have on emotional wellbeing, relationships, and daily life.

Life can be challenging at times, and seeking support is a courageous step. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, loss, trauma, low mood, relationship difficulties, or feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, I offer a safe and compassionate environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My aim is to support and empower you as you navigate your journey towards greater wellbeing and resilience.
