I’m Gavin and I have a broad range of clinical experience and I have worked in various contexts including many years teaching young people with special educational needs and emotional/behavioural difficulties. I have extensive experience as a counsellor, clinical hypnotherapist, and tutor/ lecturer, specialising in crisis counselling, suicide prevention, substance misuse, and improving memory and performance. I hold an MSc in Psychology, a Diploma of Higher Education in Counselling and I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the General Teaching Council N.I., I am a Graduate Member of The British Psychological Society (BPS) and Senior Registered Member / Advanced Practitioner / Supervisor with the General Hypnotherapy Register.
